PROJECT o1 >> TIMELINE OF MODERN ARCHITECTURE OF MALAYSIA

This project allow us to undertake a research analysis process on Modern Malaysian architecture proctices throughout history throught review and document analysis and present an appropriate chronology account of the Malaysian architecture based on the understanding gained through the analysis procedure. We are to discover the modern architecture building in malaysia in the south west of kuala lumpur, collect and analyse the building then compose it into a timeline that interprets the modern Malaysian Architecural language and architecture influence to the architectural development of Malaysia in particular.

Through this project, i am able to further understand the relationship of the modern architecture of Malaysia with social, cultural, environmental and intellectual context of Malaysian architecture post Independence. Learn how to produce a critical chronology analysis interpretation of mmodern architecture. And finaly analyzing and discussing about the modern architecture building in Malaysia.

PROJECT o2 >> REPORT

In a group of 5, we are require to conduct a deeper research and architectural analysis on a selected building. The building my group had choses was the Menara Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka in Kuala Lumpur. We would need to visit the building and and document our finding and analysis into a report by photo, sketches, diagrams and evidence. We would need to analyse and document about the facts, history and architect of the building, analyse the site context, architectural layout of the building, determine the architectural style and analyse the components and element of the building and the building construction, structure and materials,

Throught this project, i am able to increase my understanding on the principle, ideas and contributing factors of Modern Architecture in Klang Valley and able to analyse the identify the specific features of Modern Architecture in Klang Valley and most inportantly know the side of Malaysian history i never knew.
