PROJECT o1.A >> ON SITE SKETCHING
This is an introduction project to allow students to visualize and express a site through on site sketching. Students require to record their observe and and perception of a specific space and human habitation through free hand sketching.
Students are require to emphasize on the following aspect:
- Solids and voids: Form, Skin, Structure ï‚·
- Opening/Aperture; openness/enclosure; inside/outside; light/shadow ï‚·
- Rhythm in architecture ï‚·
- Details ï‚·
- Textural effects/Materials ï‚·
- Landscape/Setting ï‚·
- Scale and proportion (Relation to human and other surrounding built environment)








PROJECT o1.B >> TONAL VALUE
This project is an exersice for students to develope skills in creating dept and tone in a sketch. Refine and enhance student's ability to produce an architecture sketch that is legible.
Hatching types include:
- Stippling
- Cross hatching
- One directional hatching
- Scribbling








PROJECT o2.A >> ORTHOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS : PLAN, SECTIONS, ELEVATIONS
This project is to demomstrate how well student's drafting skill are. Students are require to demonstrate the following using ink:
- Line weight
- Line types
- Line quality
- Hand lettering
Students are require to produce the following draft:
- 1 ground floor plan
- 2 elevation (side and back)
- 2 sections


PROJECT o2.B >> AXONOMETRIC PROJECTION
Students are require to express spatial idea and architecture details in 3D, in the format of axonometric projection. Understand what axomonetric projection are and how to generate to produce a legible architecture drafting.
Parts of Barcelona Pavillion should show interior together with exterior as well. Quality of hand drawing skill are important.

PROJECT o2.C >> PERSPECTIVE
This project is to enhance the ability of students to express spatials ideas and architectural details in 3D, in the format of one point perspective and two point perspective. Understand what is perspective and how to produce perspective though using Barcelona Pavillion floor groung plan. Lastly the ability to produce a legible architectural drafting with string creative intent.
Student were to produce the following draft:
- One point perspective
- Two point perspective
